Third time I've heard this tonight...Fitz as AG or SCOTUS. I'm worried. |
|
Matthews (aka Tweety) earlier today compared Fitz to Roberts (in a rather demeaning but flattering way) and made the suggestion of Fitz 'joining the SCOTUS team' to solve B* many problems. Just now, the same was mentioned with the inclusion of AG. Was Fitz possibly 'bribed' with a grander job, to silence him on this investigation and let it all be hung on Libby, without addressing the real issues behind this crime?
I don't believe this, and certainly don't want to believe this, but we are talking about desparate, evil, murderous, mafia-like people here. And if the investigation took us to the heart of the matter, all roads would lead to Rove and Cheney and oil and innocent deaths for lies and greed.

1. From what I understand, Fitgerald has too much integrity to be bribed. |

Who the hell knows though.

Fitz--like it or not--is just another attorney. He doesn't have any judicial experience. I think Gonzales will get the nod at SCOTUS. It isn't out of the realm of possibility that Bush has enough hubris to offer him AG--however, this is a man who knows this administrations dirty laundry. I doubt he would accept. I mean would you spend your entire adult life putting crime families behind bars ONLY to go and work for them? Please.
