Third time I've heard this tonight...Fitz as AG or SCOTUS. I'm worried. |
|
Matthews (aka Tweety) earlier today compared Fitz to Roberts (in a rather demeaning but flattering way) and made the suggestion of Fitz 'joining the SCOTUS team' to solve B* many problems. Just now, the same was mentioned with the inclusion of AG. Was Fitz possibly 'bribed' with a grander job, to silence him on this investigation and let it all be hung on Libby, without addressing the real issues behind this crime?
I don't believe this, and certainly don't want to believe this, but we are talking about desparate, evil, murderous, mafia-like people here. And if the investigation took us to the heart of the matter, all roads would lead to Rove and Cheney and oil and innocent deaths for lies and greed.

1. They would be such fools to make him AG. |

(and I doubt he'd want the SCOTUS job.)
(EDIT: BushCo would be fools. I think he'd make a great AG.)

8. I did literally LOL at this one. Very good point. Fitz's integrity today |
|
made me weep. We all so long for honesty and integrity that we doubt it now when it's genuine.

7. No way. Give Fitz some credit. |
|
I think he showed his incredible amounts of integrity this afternoon--much too much integrity to make a deal of this sort.

9. sara, think about who just said that... |
|
take my advice( if you like) and do not watch any of these shows. i`ve been tracking this for months now and used only the internet sources and my own experiences in dealing with the court system. all in all i was pretty close in what i thought would happen. i thought there would be more but there`s another grand jury coming. the only thing i was worried about was the lack of inditments...but if you had followed fitz trial of the ex illinois governor ryan, all fitz needs is a small crack to split the whole thing into pieces. they can`t but him off.

10. Thank you. He seems brilliant AND ethical...both rarities. I hope he |

blows the whole thing to pieces! Good advise r.e. source. I think I've had my fill of all but Keith Olbermann and the Today Show.

11. The man appears to have integrity. He gets high profile cases. |

I don't think he would be that stupid. (In reference to AG--I don't know about SCOTUS)

12. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Fitz isn't like the Bush |

crowd. Look at his track record. He clearly loves his work, and is as nonpartisan as they get.
Give me a break. :eyes:
