My guess would be a parade of lawyers.
It's implausible that Bush didn't know/approve of the leak.
Bush knows the wagons are circling. And he's desperate. Desperate times call for desperate measures. In other words, Bush is probably breaking another law as we speak.

I hope Fitz has already anticipated this in his calculus of next steps and has his investigators monitoring the administration's actions very closely. In the end, all desperate, and, in this case, dumb, criminals make mistakes.

I can't wait to hear what McClellan will spew at the next press gaggle.

1. Miers and Card boarded the helicopter for Camp David after his vacuous
and blubbering "reaction to indictment".

2. Miers (lawyer) and Card (dirty trickster) are useful in hatching a
hare-brained, law-breaking scheme to save Bush's ass, yet once again.

I would be surprised if Hughes and Rove aren't conferenced in at some point... if they aren't there in person.

Maybe Cheney, Nixon Adminstration alum with some experience in cover-up, will chip in with some advice.

What I would do be a fly on the wall at Camp David!

3. Do you imagine Rove would risk it? Unless of course he is taping . . .

a piece of history for his lawyer.

How is that for wild speculation. But Rove More likely not involved at all because skered of the prosecutor.
