Anyone hear that windbag Hannity complain on Friday
that the person who should be indicted for outing Valerie Plame was. . .Joe Wilson?

Also, did you hear that asshole also say about Libby that "there is no crime here. What crime was Libby hiding with this bogus Perjury charge?" I almost jumped out of my skin. What crime was Clinton hiding when he was charged with perjury?

Don't you love the spin at work?

1. "What crime was Clinton hiding when he was charged with perjury?"
I thought that was pretty obvious.

2. Hannity is easy to see through

He assigns evil motives to his opponents and pure ones to his allies.

Almost all right-wing radio and TV folks do it.

3. Ayup. * could kill and eat a baby on live TV and they'd still defend him!
One thing Hannity said had me laughing my ass off:

"Libby lied about a crime he didn't commit."

4. Just another moment in the cheap TV passion play for the masses
I did watch Fox during the Clinton scandal (I admit it) and even then I really couldn't escape the impression that they presented all their so-called "news" in the form of a passion play. That made me one of the peasants in the pit--cheering on whoever I agreed with, etc.

But if I'm going to continue the peasant analogy, I'll say that nowadays I'm inclined to pick up my pitchfork and head for the Royal Palace...
