See what we have to put up with in MA??!!

Bug bites!!???

Romney dismissed a string a setbacks suffered by Republicans, including the indictment of Vice President Dick Cheney's top aide, the withdrawal of a Supreme Court nominee and the continuing investigation of GOP congressional leaders as "bug bites."

4. The only bug bites he know about are the ones at his vacation mansion
on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH., 11 acres of waterfront solid-gold property. He is so far from reality it is unreal. He has 5 sons that never bothered to serve in the military, yet he is a big supporter of the war in Iraq.

Watch out for this phony.

Libby case seen as sign of a federal ethics crisis

WASHINGTON - A majority of Americans say the indictment of senior White House aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby signals broader ethical problems in the Bush administration, and nearly half say the overall level of honesty and ethics in the federal government has fallen since President Bush took office, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News survey.

The poll, conducted Friday and Saturday, found 55 percent of Americans believe the Libby case indicates wider problems "with ethical wrongdoing" in the White House, while 41 percent believe it was an "isolated incident." By a 3-to-1 ratio, Americans say the level of honesty and ethics in government has declined under Bush.

In the wake of the latest crisis, Bush's overall job approval rating has fallen to 39 percent, the lowest of his presidency in Post-ABC polls. Barely one in three Americans — 34 percent — think Bush is doing a good job ensuring high ethics in government, which is slightly lower than President Clinton's standing when he left office.

The survey found that nearly seven in 10 Americans consider the charges against Libby to be serious. A majority — 55 percent — said the decision to bring charges against Libby was based on the facts of the case, while 30 percent said he was motivated by partisan politics.

7. He's Running for President
because he'd be trounced in any Massachusetts election in 2006.

Here's the ad campaign against him, if, by chance, he ever did become a serious candidate for Prez.

1. In Utah, Mr. Romney said he was Pro-life, and was opposed to Roe v. Wade. Next, as a candidate for Governor of Massachusetts, Romney changed his position to Pro-choice, to garner support from moderate Dems. Now, as a Republican Presidential candidate, he's back to his anti-choice stance to pander to the right wing in a clumsy attempt to "fool" them. Good luck you'll need it.

2. In Utah, our Mormon friend was anti-gambling. In 2003, he recommended closing a budget short-fall by supporting expanded gaming at racetracks. Now, after a right-wing Iowa spokesperson criticized his position on this issue, he says he will veto a proposal headed to his desk in a couple of weeks.

3. In Utah, Romney opposed gay-rights and civil unions. As a Gubernatorial candidate in Liberal Massachusetts, he moved to a more moderate position, favoring civil-unions, a position nearly identical to John Kerry. Now, as he needs right-wing votes in Republican primaries, his position has hardened to anti-gay and opposed to civil unions.

Let me give Romney handlers some free political advice. As a supporter of Mike Dukakis for President in 1988, and for John Kerry last year, my experience is that if your opponents can paint you as a Massachusetts politician that flip-plops on major issues, you can save your time and money by forgetting about running Romney for Prez in the Repuke primaries. On top of it, he's a lousy Governor.
