1. David Corn is talking about Plame and how her position was classified info
and that there was no way that Rove, Libby, et al would not have known that she was a CIA operative. Byron York (The National Review) is totally shilling for Bushco.

13. He's hanging in and CALLING Byron York on his LIES.
Very nicely done, so far. Pointing out the CERTAINTY that Bush, Rice et al claimed that Saddam had WMD - pointed out specifically that Clinton, Edwards, Dems DID NOT KNOW THE LEVEL OF DISCREPANCIES of the intelligence.

We were all force fed a bunch of bull-shit (though all of us at DU knew it was bs - all along).

All the Rethugs want to talk about is how Clinton said there were WMD's, "remember Sept. 11", "oil for food scandal", "support our President". God, they're sick.

5. open phone segment question was about cheney
being the most powerful vice president. from what i heard cheney was taking a beating from callers.

that makes bush the weakest president ever.

was byron york and tucker carlson separated at birth?

6. Good lord, York can't help himself: he's talking about Clinton.
Corn is trying to bring the conversation back to Plame. He just accused York of blaming the victim for her outing. York is just spouting the Bushco line. Geez. The Republicans are in total denial.

24. Good morning! I got up an hour early because I forgot to reset the clocks
:hi: Corn is certainly doing a fine job this morning. Do you think that Byron actually believes the crap that he is spewing? Ha! A caller thinks that Cheney is at the heart of the leak.

27. Yep, we are back to "real time." I've got about 6 clocks to reset.
I really hate when it is so dark at night. I spend lots of time outdoors each night when I care for my horse. I've got to get new bulbs and batteries for all of my flashlights. We are on our way to the shortest day of the year on Dec. 21. :( After that, the days will get longer again. :)

9. Byron York breaking out the talking points big time
Joe Wilson couldn't expect his wife to be covert with his high profile in Washington, this is a disappointment to the left.

Why is it that conversatives appear alone on CSPAN, but a liberal must be countered with a hard right idealogue?

16. York thinks Plame sent Wilson rather than the CIA administrators.
Oh god, man from SC is telling Byron to "never trust a liberal" and going on and on and on about 9-11 and backing the president because we have not had more attacks against the US since 9-11.

Corn is tearing into the caller (nicely) and mentioning the former military men and Brent Scowcroft saying the war was a mistake. Hee hee! He jsut said "brain fart."

32. HAHAHAHA!!! Did he really say that?? So THAT'S this week's excuse!
Next week, the scheduled excuse is "we're losing in Iraq because we all had to set our clocks one hour back."

On further reflection, I must register my surprise that a Bush-shill like York would even admit that we are doing poorly in Iraq!

20. My question to Byron: If ANOTHER person learns something
Edited on Sun Oct-30-05 08:13 AM by merbex
which reflects negatively on B* WH and B*agenda and that person decides to write an op ed in the NYTimes, and that person ALSO happens to have a spouse who works for the CIA are you saying that this administration has the right to ONCE AGAIN out that spouse?

Because that is what you seem to be saying: you are justifying this administrarions' response to Wilson's criticism

So it's perfectly ok with you if they do it again ????

26. Corn: Don't make this a liberal vs. conservative argument because that
ignores the actual issue at hand: an undercover CIA operative was illegally outed and Libby lied to a grand jury.

that, if the war in Iraq goes well, this will all go away. I think this is a triumph of hope over reason.

too late, Byron - this ain't going away...sorry.

29. WTF? Conservatives ONLY call-in re; SCOTUS nominee?
CSPAN must think that they would npot get many GOp callers if they let anyone call in.

York and Corn are gone. Of course they couldn't have Corn on Solo. That would violate CSAPN rules: never have a liberal on alone but have as many conservative solo guests a s possible. :grr:

31. Can't stand that fop York--his hair looks like he's an Oscar Wilde wannabe
and yes I know that's an insult to Oscar Wilde. Though he said imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I think Wilde would have shrunk in horror if he could've seen the creature York with his poor imitation of "Oscar Wilde hair".
