This is not about the leak of Plame's name.... It certainly is not about Karl Rove doing a perpwalk.

Maybe it's some folks' wet dream but it ain't mine....not hardly.

THose who think that are being incredibly shortsighted. I could care less about KKKarl and what he did re: Wilson and Plame.

This is about Conspiracy and Fraud in the run-up to the war. The outing is nothing....Its utterly and completely about the motivations behind why it was done.

This is about malevolent Neo-Con Cabal that has hijacked foreign policy from a dull-witted president.

The Key to this whole thing unraveling in Libby because Libby, albeit a true believer, is not going to engage in attempts to assassinated anyone in the the media without orders from higher-ups to do so.

It ought to be inconceivable to most that Libby started down this path on his own.

The challenge at this time IMO is what it is going to take to turn the light switch on and see all the Neo-cons scurrying about like roaches,

They may not be able to get them on conspiracy to start a private war because too many cosmic tumblers would need to click precisely into place.

Where Fitz can get them is on a significant conspiracy to obstruct Justice, That goes to Cheney and Wolfiwitz and the OSP Gang at the Pentagon.

And the Key to all of this unraveling might well be George Tenet and the real story behind Yellow cake Uranium. He hates the the Cabal,,,he is going to have to testify about how and why Wilson was sent to Niger. He will have to testify about WIlson's debrief and will then have to testify about what the WH did with the CIA analysis of Wilson's report.

Fits has to go there to prove willful intent on Libby's part. That is how you get to Cheney on Conspiracy, Obstruction and most likely perjury.

I said it before and I will say it again: If Cheney pleads the Fifth, exerts executive privilege or in anyway tries to avoid testifying, He will be charged. Why? Because he will refuse to testify on statements he made before the Grand Jury.

I think it will be reasonable to say that Cheney will resign. If he forces a fight there are three outcomes:

a: It goes to SCOTUS shortly after the mid-terms and I suspect that they will compel him to testify,

b: Bush will Pardon LIbby in which case either Fitz opens a much larger probe and their is a huge feeding frenzy.

c: Bush fires Fitz and orders the 101st Airborne to secure the White House.

In any eventuality, this is going to incapacitate the WH for the next two years.
