What has Libby sacrificed? * said Libby had sacrificed much.
Did Libby sacrifice himself to save Cheney?
When I think of sacrificing for the country, I think of people like Casey Sheehan, not lying Libby's.

1. It's people (liars) like Libby who put Casey Sheehan on the sacrificial |
|
altar for their own greedy and evil agendas.

3. He's not quite the king, he's like the clown prince. I don't know who I'd |
|
nominate for king. Probably Cheney or Wolfowitz.

5. aw c'mon. shrub is the lyin' king, hands down! |
|
the others know the truth and knowingly lie.
shrub lives in a fantasy land where the lies of the people he surrounds himself with IS the "truth".

7. Shrub is delusional. He thinks he really is running things. That's a form |
|
of mental illness.
He's just a pathetic drooling corrupt idiot that failed at everything he ever did. He's also got one hell of a big (although absolutely misguided ego.) And he's corrupt to the marrow. They chose wisely (from their point of view) when they picked him to be their front man.

9. i disagree. they could have done much better (from their point of view) |
|
the key way having the media line up and press the rw line. the media have been brilliant in their flagrant disregard for the obvious lies and gaffes and boners that shrub has presented.
it's true that they needed someone who was a willing puppet, without much of a brain. but they could have done much better. reagan proved that an actor works very well for their idea of a front man. they should have gotten someone with at least some acting experience. not necessarily famous, but at least someone who the wouldn't have to lie constantly to convince america that he was competent.
i mean the guy still hasn't figured out how to read a speech off a teleprompter. jeez!

The problem with that is if they got someone who could read, they couldn't also make him believe all the lies.
* believes the lies. He is the perfect person for the deceit.

15. No, he didn't need to be a good actor. The crazy bastard was elected |
|
because people felt that he was the kind of guy 'they could sit down and have a beer with'.
They completely ignored that with his history they could have probably done a couple of lines and then gone out for a ride and got stopped for drunken driving. And then had you record expunged. And gone AWOl, and bankrupted an oil company and had the tax payers bail you out (right after you sold all your stocks because you had some nifty insider info). And on and on and on and on...

13. Bush is counting on Libby to sacrifice his freedom |
|
and to fall on his sword for the President.
Kind of like Bush telling the press two years ago, that of course he could count of them not to reveal the leak because, they would never reveal their sources.

That is a sacrifice. For the con artists, not the country.
