The job of the M$M is to PREVENT the truth from coming to light
Lets face it. We complain that they don't report the news, or that they're not even-handed. Its time to face up to the harsh reality that the main stream whores are actively preventing the truth from being known. It is these people who should be charged with obstruction of justice.

I've watched teevee news all morning and it is absolutely incredible that they all nod there heads in agreement that its all over. The douchebag Dana Milbank actually congratulated the media on its responsible coverage of the issue as compared with the crazy blogs. Yes, good job Dana, take another bow.

We are going to be challenged once again to continue the pressure, and the investigating, and drag the whores along for the ride, kicking and screaming.

1. Why do people keep using MSM?
A more apt term is the "corporate news media." There is nothing mainstream at all at making the truth subordinate to the pursuit of profits.

2. If I were a reporter, the worst insult I could imagine would be
for Dana Milbank to tell me I had provided "responsible coverage" of a political story.

5. he did it with a straight face and a very august expression
as he peered over the top of his spectacles. It was quite a well played line.

3. Don't expect to see REAL coverage from the Sunday-morning shows.
There's your problem, right there.

If you want to see MSM coverage *not* done by a "whore," that is trying to GET the truth known, that is interested in justice and does NOT think that "it is all over," you're going to have to wait until 8 pm ET and Countdown with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC.

Try it. You'll feel as if you've stepped out of a stifling room of smoke and mirrors into the fresh outdoor air.

6. It's a war crime -- "The Nuremberg Precedent"
David Walsh

...in their arguments US prosecutors set forth a democratic legal principle derived from the international experience of a half- century of carnage: that planning and launching an aggressive war constituted a criminal act and that those who helped prepare such a war through their propaganda efforts were as culpable as those who drew up the battle plans or manufactured the munitions.

and when was the last time Noam Chomsky was invited to trade spittle with Chris Matthews? That would be a nice surprise.
