Face the Nation: divided about Cheney/Rove indictment.
I could have watched for another hour. It's such a relief to finally hear the TV discussing how these neocons fabridated the excuse for the war.

4. It was alot of info: I didn't try to get the details
It was just finally about the point: These guys all work together, and anyone who thinks this is just Libby is uninformed. The points were made that this was about faking reasons for war, and that it was the neocon agenda from the get-go.

All the other stuff, to me, is filler. They landed the big, big story:This country was hijacked by the neocons. That's what Clinton's impeachment was for: To give these murderers the power to launch their imperialist plans.

So, just to hear it said on national TV that the neocons conspired to fake the war excuses, and then went after the whistleblower's wife in retribution, makes my week.

Everything else is just today's news. I really don't care what happens to Cheney, et al, as long as this stops them from marching on Iran and Syria.

And, with this kind of talk, more americans will wake up to the fact that the GOP won't save them any money in 06, and we need to get out of Iraq. If the dems can become the party of non-occupations, then we'll have a future.

9. The "neocons" are the PNAC
Edited on Sun Oct-30-05 02:36 PM by LunaC
The talking-heads need to start identifying the PNAC by name so the public can fully comprehend the conspiracy they perpetrated. "Neocon" is too generic and without any roots.

3. Yes, after all.
I'd be surprised if this leads to more truth.

5. Bob Schieffer is great. Today's show was really good. I liked
the way Bob ended with that bit about reporters needing to ask themselves why they are being given information; he said they should not allow themselves to be used to "carry water" for people.

6. The title of the show was "Smear and Loathing".
It was the most balanced show I saw this morning.

7. Remember, they were rolling out a new product,
war. Permanent war.

For the folks just now coming to the whole ugly realization, here's a blast from the past.

It was all about the marketing.

11. Lots of commentators today saying how hard it is to understand
that a smart guy like Libby could be so dumb to lie when he knew they had his emails. Makes you wonder doesn't it? Did he fall on his sword? and if so...wonder what his reward will be.
