He was going to be charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice.
Hence, his immortal title of "Former President Richard M. Nixon, unindicted co-conspirator."
I always think that has such a festive ring to it .............

I miss him every single day of my life. He was the best theater I've ever seen. No one poured sweat and paranoia better than the Big Dick.
I have his funeral on DVD. Every once in a while I watch it, just to watch Bob Dole break down crying, watch Bubba deliver his eulogy while struggling with his smirk, as I wait - in vain - for a glimpse of his corpse.
See, there was never a viewing, so I'm not really convinced he's dead.
Remember "He's rested, he's tanned, he's back!"
And, of course, my eternal favorite: "Dick Nixon Before He Dicks Us."
Oh, do I miss him ..................
