Like when Senslessbrenner heaved his bulk off that panel and cut the lights and mics. Abuse of power, bad people.

24. I am hoping this too. Fitzgerald and staff are paying attention to media |
|
Fitzgerald joked about the report of his shoe shine so I bet he and his staff are paying close attention to the reports coming out spinning and downplaying the seriousness of the charges.

Alexander Haig. Ahhhhh. Thought the bastard was dead. Another old |
|
militarist turned politician that we sure as hell didn't need to hear from. Ever.
They dragging all these old political failures and has beens out of the closet-from-hell and dusting them off. Next we'll be hearing from Kissenger, nasty old murderous thug. He is still alive isn't he? Or did someone drive a stake through what should have been his heart?

13. I certainly hope he's as insignificant as you say |
|
I'm just worried that this is the new tack we'll be hearing all week. Remember, these guys eat sleep and drink evil and revenge. They're masters - not that it will work this time. It's just astounding to me.

He had the happy look of an alcoholic having taken his first drink in the morning. And he sounded like it as well.

He apparently thinks having a special prosecuter and indictments are worse than the crimes.

20. If he has such evidence, then |
|
1. Why didn't he share it? And, 2. if he didn't tell Fitzgerald about it, and it's genuine, then he is guilty of obstruction of justice.
He's a lying sack of shit.

25. Wolfie TOTALLY surprised me! |
|
He kept asking "You have evidence that Wilson talked about his wife and the CIA before Novak's column?" and Haig could only sputter.
Wolfie may have been looking for a "scoop" but ended up making Haig look like a blustering, empty-rhetoric fool spouting bullshit.

27. I wondered about the element of senility -- |
|
Wolf pointed out some of his most glaring errors pretty clearly, saying once something like, "am I missing something." In fact, it's Haig who's missing something, and, like you, I'm surprised he's still making TV appearances. Maybe today's performance will convince some that his commentating should end.

You know I'm pretty tuff when it comes to listening to RW hacks, but I had to change the channel to the Weather channel when he was started in on how she was not a covert agent.

17. The only thing worse than a Republican |
|
is a senile Republican. Shame on you Wolfie for having him on your show. He was defiling the office of the Prosecutor and promoting the merits of illegal activity. The politicians would just love it if we ignored every illegal thing they do and just chalked it up to "politics at work". No big deal.

18. Go back to Watergate and closely examine his appointment as.... |
|
...the White House Chief of Staff while STILL a two-star Army general. When talking later with an officer that was on the White House staff, I learned that the guy with the nuclear codes stopped following Nixon around soon after Haig arrived.
So, who was running the show? Nixon was totally compromised, Agnew had resigned, and as far as I remember, nobody stepped forward from the obvious successors to the Presidency. Decisions were made, but who was making them?
Once Nixon resigned, take a look at the controversy that was stirred up when Haig was appointed, over quite a few generals more senior, to the 4-star NATO command. That was Haig's reward for managing the transition from the outgoing Nixon to the incoming and unelected Ford. Ford was clearly a rightwinger with a moderate face...don't forget that he was also on the Warren Commission.
Haig was part of the rightwing "secret team" back then, and probably is still useful to them in certain limited capacities like appearing on the air to dessiminate NeoCon talking points and lies.
In short, Haig is an "old soldier"...one who refuses to "fade away".

Even though he was in no way close to being part of the succession had Reagan died. Yep.

It still doesn't.
ZERO creds go to a megalomaniac who declared himself president after Raygun was shot...the guy is a mad, insane stooge.
