I don't think the press knows any more than we do. Probably less! |

Most of the people on the Sunday morning shows were right of center. I mean come on! William Safire, Judy Woodruff and David Brooks??? Fuck them! Did we really expect them to say anything different than what they said? I remain optimistic that Rove may still be indicted and tonight Joe Wilson will be on Dateline NBC and 60 Minutes is covering this. The mood on DU may do a 180 degree turn after tonights two programs.
I feel a little disappointed but lets face it, their are just as many questions now as before and until those questions are answered this remains a huge story and will damage the Bush administration.
Cheer up everyone! Don't let Safiare and Brooks get you down. We already knew they were full of shit.
Tune into Dateline and 60 Minutes tonight! This could get real interesting.

1. That is what I think too. |
|
And all the politicians don't know either. They need to ask Fitz he knows.

2. We have known more than the press knows for too many years now. |
|
We bother to conduct research and investigate occurrences. They are happy reporting what they are told or allowed to report. They are lazy and should be held to answer for their involvement in the illegal and immoral war.

3. i think most DUers know at least as much, |
|
and almost certainly far more, than the average lamestream media talking head or so-called reporter.
What's more, we're far more prepared to seperate the gold out of the sand and to go into 'print'.

4. Agree, they are simply talking heads, not investigative reporters |
|
and even they are few and far between these days. They have been given their talking points and that is all they are there to do.
From the threads I have read, the doom and gloomers are a very small minority who make it their task in life to spread woe is us everywhere they can. I find it quite hilarious, actually.

5. .....they abetted in the lies |
|
they have no more facts than we do....they are reading the indictments to fit their spins..if anything.I don't believe they read them very well at all....
I have not heard them "quoting page and paragraph" of any of these......have they true ly read them....or are they going by...what one person who has...and taking their info from that?
truth is the media has buffaloed into this war with all the hype...they were 24/7 with the gas masks drills.the reporters having to be trained.all this complete bullshit...the bullshit they spewed 24/7 is getting thrown back in their faces......and they will not admit.that they the media are also the blame for the lies and the run up to this invasion of a sovereign country.
and speculation is all they have.......

6. it is hard enough for us to keep |
|
the facts straight. I hardly think the press has any idea what is going on they are so screwed up with facts, talking points, lies, spins. They only way they can get something right, uhm err correct at this point is by accident.
