Pretty damn obvious Libby can't use the "I don't remember" defense |
|
because it seems to me that during the period in question the Wilsons: Joe and Valerie- were the topic of the day,the reason the "Senior White House Officials" were reaching for the phone and their rolodexes for reporters' phone numbers
The "I don't recall" just does not work

4. He will be out before next Christmas. In my opinion the pardon |
|
is already signed and in his lawyer's safe deposit box, dated after the November 2006 election.

3. Sure he can use it! That doesn't mean anyone will believe him. |
|
I can see him saying, hey, I spend 100 hours on the phone each week. How am I supposed to remember what I said to who, let alone who I talked to at a particular time?
I'm not sure this case will ever go to trial. If Libby has something he's willing to trade to Fitz for a slap on the wrist, I suspect he'll do so.

5. On NPR this morning, they said he was going full steam to attempt to fight |
|
the charges saying he was very busy involved in many things and that is why he might have forgotten details.
Yeah, right so he obstructed the truth because he had so much on this plate? Doesn't fly with me.

6. Of corruption, lies and "lame" duck excuses |
|
I thought the Republicans were to clean up Washington of corruption with there "Contract with America" that when they came into power must have "expired"........ and have Americans trust them. What a laugh!
It is sure a "lame" excuse for the White House to say that Libby has "bad memory". If his memory is that bad why is he an adviser? And I would sure like to see his medical records to see if he has Alzheimer's disease, other then that its just another cover-up.
ATTENTION ALL REPUBLICANS WHO READ THIS POST. ABSOLUTE POWER DOES CORRUPT ABSOLUTELY AND YOU ARE GOING TO SEE THE RESULTS OF THAT CORRUPTION.

9. Libby acted with surgical precision, but claims senile dementia for GJ? |
|
Walk & talk don't match in this case.
This defense would never work, but is sounds good for the Republican Party & their propagandists.
It is more about appearances than substance, because Libby will never go to trial on these charges.
