Confusion re. Matt Cooper's lawyer -- Ted Olson was given the case....

but seems to have been replaced by a Richard (Dick) Stauber. I have found solid documentation of Cooper's case being transferred from Floyd Abrams (who was representing both Cooper and Judy Miller) to Olson, but none about a transfer from Olson to Stauber. I can find very little, in fact, about Richard Stauber, except as appearing as attorney for Cooper, as seen on TV by some here at DU. (Maybe Olson disguised himself? Hee, hee.) There is a reference in one case indicating that he is an attorney at Fried Frank, but I can't find him listed among the attorneys at that firm -- nor do I see him listed at Olson's firm, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Anybody know more about all this?
