Popularity of President Bush at all time low
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=80ba081dec9027c4

The ABC News-Washington Post poll results find only 39 percent of 600 people surveyed think President Bush is doing a good job.

And, by a three to one ratio, 46 percent to 15 percent, the respondents said they believe the level of honesty and ethics in the government has declined under President Bush.

On a specific issue, a majority of the Americans polled indicate they believe the indictment of senior White House aide Lewis Libby signals broader ethical problems in the Bush Administration.

Mr. Libby, who has resigned as the Vice President's chief of staff, was indicted Friday in connection with the ongoing investigation into who publicly revealed the identity of a covert CIA officer, two years ago.

Speaking on the ABC television program This Week, Senate Minority Leader, Democrat Harry Reid said instead of praising Mr. Libby, President Bush should issue an apology to the nation.

"He should apologize. The vice president should apologize. They should come clean with the American public," said Senator Reid.

Everyone is expecting Bush to pardon Libby!!!

2. "declined under President Bush."...from Clinton! no less!!!
 Bush should immediately become a reasonable leader and start fooling around on the side...and lying about it. Our country does have its priorities right!

Here's a good one. This is "Favorability" as opposed to "Job Approval", i.e., how much do you like the guy?. The favorability is almost always higher than the job approval (Clinton being the big exception--job approval huge, favorability low ... due to fooling around).

Bush has lived on "favorability" and now it's in the negative zone. This was all he had besides "terra ism" ... you know, the adult leaders saving us from whatever.

This is great news. He has no cushion!

9. Oh, yes...troops home NOW!
Sorry about the caps, but why should more American troops be killed, or maimed, in Bush's war of choice? He wants to be a "War President"? Fine...let him strap on his guns and go to Iraq, and fight, then. I'm tired of ordinary citizens who are dying and being maimed and crippled, in body and in spirit, for his dream of being...whatever.

Get the troops home, NOW. Iraq is an incredibly old civilization. They are perfectly capable of determining what kind of government they should have. We have already condemned Iraq's women to chattel status; unless we withdraw now, things might get even worse. I hope that eternity is long enough for the architects of this war to be repaid for the pain they have created.

What is wrong with them? Why do they function like children?
Why do we have to be in total disaster to get their attention?
