Jeff Gannon/Guckert, there might be something to this
I posted this in another thread, but it could get lost and I think it holds something.

His interview with Wolf on CNN and Fitzgerald questioning his info...

"GANNON: They were interested in where -- how I knew or received a copy of a confidential CIA memo that said that uh, Valerie Plame suggested that Joe Wilson be sent on this mission -- something that they have all vigorously denied but which is, in effect, true. The Senate Intelligence Committee eight months later, when they issued their report, said that and chastised Joe Wilson for essentially misleading everybody all along, and that's the day Joe Wilson was no longer a Kerry campaign adviser."

2. How can something be "in effect, true"?
I'm suspicious of people who qualify their words like this.

Something is either true or it's not.

6. I think the Republican Party has sufficiently proved that truth is relative
and that the truth is very spontaneous.. it spontaneously erupts to accommodate the occasion or situation at hand...

15. That's exactly how Cheney talks:
"The blah, blah, blah, blah, if you will, blah, blah, blah, enormously, blah, blah, deeply troubling, blah, blah, blah, blah, . . . .

He is the most pompous speaker of empty blather I've ever heard.

3. Roves' ties to Guckerts alma matters.
How do you graduate from a 2 day seminar?

Eric Alterman

"All sorts of interesting, and damning, nuggets continue to tumble out of the Gannongate story. Yet according to LexisNexis, neither ABC, CBS, Los Angeles Times, nor Miami Herald (just to name a few) have reported on the $200-an-hour male escort who, with no journalism experience and using an alias while working for a phony news organization, was allowed into White House press briefings without having to submit to a full background security check. Move along folks, nothing of interest here."

"Does it explain why Gannon sent FOX News host Sean Hannity an email in September 2004 boasting that, according to Hannity, "he's about to break a story in an exclusive about these CBS documents"? Representative Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) recently suggested that Rove and the Bush White House may have planted the apparently fake CBS documents in order to divert attention from Mr. Bush's spotty National Guard record. "

HE SAID HE QUIT BECAUSE HIS FAMILY WAS THREATENED....

He was invited to the WH Christmas parties of 03' and 04'. Who invited him?

8. Why was Gannon in WH press room
I wanted to find when he became this "journalist"

FEB. 2003.

I'm reading the comments from the media matters link and on page 3, a thread brings us to Gannon exposed. No play on words if you decide to follow the link below, it is censored. This comment caught me.....

"This is the Conservative Republican Bush White House we're talking about. It's looking increasingly like they made a decision to allow a hooker to ask the President of the United States questions. They made a decision to give a man with an alias and no journalistic experience access to the West Wing of the White House on a "daily basis." They reportedly made a decision to give him - one of only six - access to documents, or information in those documents, that exposed a clandestine CIA operative. Say what you will about Monika Lewinsky - a tasteless episode, "inappropriate," whatever. Monika wasn't a gay prostitute running around the West Wing. What kind of leadership would let prostitutes roam the halls of the West Wing? What kind of war-time leadership can't find the same information that took bloggers only days to find? None of this is by accident. Someone had to make a decision to let all this happen. Who? Someone committed a crime in exposing Valerie Plame and now it appears a gay hooker may be right in the middle of all of it? Who?"

This was talked about before when he was first "outed" but consider the date he said he hired on, then Rove didn't get indicted......

Warning...this does have screen shots of 'bulldog' so don't click on thumbnails. I believe this has much to do with WHO WASN'T CALLED OUT YET!

9. What I am suggesting is
that is why Rove hasn't been called yet.

If he gave Gannon or whatever his name really is, the memo, when this opens up, it really would be very damaging. You would need a brand new jury because this would make you :puke:

14. Dem. Whip of the House wants him investigated
Hoyer Statement on "Jeff Gannon" Connection to Valerie Plame Leak

http://democraticwhip.house.gov/media/press.cfm?pressRe...

“This most recent revelation is only the latest in the growing list of ways that Republicans in Washington are attempting to manipulate the American people through the media and avoid accountability. When the Bush Administration had trouble selling its domestic policies, it unethically paid journalists to promote its policies under the guise of journalism. When the Ethics Committee held Majority Leader Tom DeLay accountable for improper actions last year, the Republican leadership simply removed Chairman Joel Hefley (R-CO) and other Republicans from the Committee.

“I encourage the Special Counsel looking into the Plame matter to include “Jeff Gannon’s” ties to the issue in his investigation.”

The silence is deafing.

Notice how nobody made fun of it...(Leno,etc) still doing old Clenis jokes.
