A Freeper Responds
On another messageboard...of course. Responding to someone who posted the 60 Minutes transcript of the Plame segment:

I guess now they'll have to learn how not to be outed by whitehouse officials.
The bar has been raised.

Wow...can he fit his head up this Administration's ass any farther?
Talk about partisan...oh my.

1. That's horrible! It's like...
someone on your own football team tripping the quarterback, and people saying, "Guess they'll have to learn not to be tripped BY THEIR OWN SIDE!"

4. In a sense the freeptard is correct.
The CIA will have to consider how to protect covert assets from political operatives in the white house. In fact I'm rather sure that they already do this at some level. However that is rather difficult when you have the VP over at the CIA digging around on a regular basis.

But of course Loose Scooter Libbey was acting alone protecting himself from 'no crime committed' when he gave false testimony to the grand jury.

7. Well, the CIA is famous for "wet work".
I think that they are smart enough to figure out how to protect themselves.

5. Yes, it should be up to the CIA and all other government entities...
...to protect themselves from the White House. I mean, who the hell do these people think they are to expect a White House that would actually be sort of loyal to America?

14. The Freeper probably isn't smart enough to
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 01:12 PM by Catrina
realize that it has always been anticipated that there would be domestic enemies as well as foreign enemies to fight. That is why government employees such as the military and top government offficials, take an oath, not to defend the flag, but to protect and defend the Constititution from 'all enemies, both foreign and domestic'

However, I take his statement as an acknowledgement that undercover agent Valerie Plame encountered domestic enemies at the top level of her own government and from now on, sadly, we'll have to consider that as a possibilty.

I'm sure though, that those who lay their lives on the line, are always on the alert for not only foreign enemies, but domestic also. I do wonder though, how many of them ever dreamed they would be betrayed, as the Freeper points out, by their own Vice President and maybe, President.

I would have to say that maybe unintentionally, this freeper has hit the nail on the head. He gets it, in other words. I wonder if he intended to 'get it'!!
