1. yeah i know
i was just thinking that.

just yesterday i heard a reporter on CNN make the statement "this will only be a big story if we make it that way"

and went on to say he thought theyd give the nomination tomorrow(which is today) and that theyd all stop talking about libby.

he was right..

bastards.

23. Apparently tomorrow's MSM distraction is the flu...
chimpass plans to announce his "plan" for a flu pandemic. Never a good sign when the regime starts to use the phrase "isolate the sick". Nice way of saying "quarantine" = military to keep our asses locked up in our houses with no food or water.

Can't wait for Wednesday's breaking "chimp reacts" news...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051029/ap_on_he_me/super_flu

The Bush administration's long-awaited plan on how to fight the next super-flu will likely include beefed-up attempts to spot human infections early, both here and abroad.

Expect recommendations on how to isolate the sick. Governors and mayors are on notice to figure out who will actually inject stockpiled vaccines into the arms of panicked people.

Bush on Tuesday is visiting the National Institutes of Health to announce his administration's strategy on how to prepare for the next flu pandemic, whether it's caused by the bird flu in Asia or some other super strain of influenza. Federal health officials have spent the last year updating a national plan on how to do that.

17. He's not all wrong. You'd expect it to still be a headline in the Sunday
papers. The Orlando Sentinel carried it on the front page I think on Saturday, then slipped it back into the paper on Sunday. I find that odd.

4. Yea, but the battle continues.....
I don't think it is totally a bad thing....Let their arrogance return....that is when the leave themselves open.

They will fall harder when Fitzgerald issues new indictments and/or a trail is set.

We can also get traction from this Scalia-like discussion.

5. No Worries
The White House Corruption invetsigation continues...
Yeah there will be other stories that take the lead in the news...
and they won't all be good for Dubya...

For instance... any woman who learns of Allito would
have to be psychopathically masochistic to think
he's a good judge.... and all that comes back as
more self-induced slime on the White House.

Come the next indictment... the headlines will
be back on crimes commited by the Bush White House.

15. Both CNN and Fox
have had plenty about the scandal since Friday's indictments. The scandal has been on the front pages of every significant newspaper in the country. It will be in the feature articles of Time, Newsweek, etc. It is silly, wrong, and not true, to try to say it isn't getting attention.

19. MSNBC just had Isikoff from Newsweek talking about it
The new topic of the day is the SC nominee but the Libby story is still too new and "hot" to be ignored at this stage of the game.

21. Next MSM distraction: 13 yr old girl has disappeared (was w/ her nanny)
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 10:16 AM by rainbow4321
Leak?? Libby who?

"Blonde hair, blue eyes....nanny"

http://wcbstv.com/localwire/NYC--MissingTeen-nyn/resources_news_html

A 13-year-old Nassau County girl is still missing - three days since she disappeared from the Roosevelt Field Mall. Police say 13-year-old Kaitlyn Macedonio of Port Washington was last seen by her nanny Friday afternoon at a store in the mall.

The nanny told police she turned away for a minute and when she looked back, Kaitlyn was gone.

Kaitlyn is described as having blonde hair in braided rows, blue eyes, braces - and last wearing a black halter top with jeans and a pink sweatshirt.

Police are looking at surveillance tapes from various stores in the mall.

Don't get me wrong, this **needs coverage**...but is it going to take on a "Natalie-takes-over-the-news 24/7, nothing else matters now" coverage??

22. It won't go away.
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 10:18 AM by ocelot
It may subside from time to time between new developments, and there will always be big stories (whether planted or real) that will take over the news, but the CIA leak investigation will continue, sometimes under the radar and sometimes in the headlines. Watergate was the same way -- it just went on and one for a couple of years. The news coverage, especially at first, was spotty. But people like Fitzgerald will keep on working, whether or not we hear about it right away.
