oh, I see...now suddenly it's "I. Lewis Libby" on CNN, instead of "scooter
what up with that? they've been content to call him scooter for years.
Are they concerned about what will happen to someone called "scooter" in prison?
Are they attempting to afford him more dignity?
Are they embarrassed for america that a guy called "scooter" is the foremost advisor on wmds?

:)

1. Or, conversely, they could be trying to make it sound more criminal...
in the same way that much of the rightwing media referred to Clinton as "William Jefferson Clinton" during the impeachment idiocy.

You knew you were in trouble when mom called you by your full name.

3. So Publicons (talking heads) can say...
"See? See? I told you a week ago that no one would remember who Scooter was!"

4. That doesn't bother me.
If you ask me, a guy named "Scooter" sounds too harmless to be indicted on 5 federal felony counts. Using his real name takes away that illusion of harmlessness.

10. Cutesy nicknames are for "insiders" or insider-wannabees
by dropping the nickname, they have thrown Scooter from the train..
