I call that a good day's work, and a darn fine start toward restoring sanity and justice in our government. I also believe Fitz isn't through with Karl. Plus, *'s approval is at an all time low.

Let's focus on the incredibly positive stuff that has been coming our way. Sure there are major problems, including this new SCOTUS nominee, but we're in a better position than we've been in throughout the last 5 years.

On edit: I've not mentioned all the good stuff (much of which I'm probably not even aware). Please add other positive developments!

2. Let's toss in there the Thomas Noe indictment

3. And Larry Franklin, who pled guilty

to spying and his two 'handlers', also Pentagon employees and rightwingers, were arrested and will go on trial in January.

And what about Republican Governor Taft? And the Republican Governor of Connecticut, currently serving jail time for corruption after escaping jail until after the 2004 election.

Edited to add the Republican Governor, Ryan, currently under indictment for corruption also, I believe.

1)So far that makes three Republican Governors indicted, one convicted and jailed.

2)Three Republican spies arrested and one guilty plea.

3)One top Administration Republican official indicted on five counts of perjury, lying and obstruction of justice.

4)Another top Republican Administration official, arrested for obstructing justice in the Abramoff affair.

5)The Republican Majority Leader of the House under indictment for money laundering.

It's hard to keep tabs on all these corrupt Republicans and most of these cases have only just begun. Talk about a culture of corruption!!
