Things to be happy about even IF Libby is the ONLY one indicted.
1. The press is FINALLY questioning Bush's case for war.

2. Democrats are now saying in unison WE WERE LIED TO.

3. Due to 1 and 2, The PNAC agenda is in jeopardy and many lives may be spared! *This is the greatest victory IMHO.

4. The media is FINALLY talking about PNAC. SEE HERE

Do we all know how important these things are? If Bush has trouble following through with the PNAC agenda (because Libby was indicted,) that means no draft, no more innocents murdered in our name, no invasion of Syria and/or Iran, no permanent military bases in Iraq, no more money for senseless war ...

This administration needs to be able to muddy public perception in order to push forward with PNAC ie. the so called "war on terra," and without the complacent media of yesterday, they can't do that!

If we examine the big picture, THINGS ARE GOOD!!!

1. Why would he be the only one, mzmolly?

The small details of the big picture are also looking extra good.

2. I don't know that he will be. But, he stated that he's like an umpire
who's had sand thrown in his eyes, and what I'm saying is IF he's unable to gather evidence against Rove/Cheney, we've still won something valuable.

3. Cheney and Rove are walking wounded.
It's too early to say how wounded, but Cheney has been most effective as an eminence grise, as someone who operates in the dark, behind the curtain, out of the public eye. This indictment has shone a light into the cockroach-breeding ground where he likes to operate. It may be more difficult for him to continue as it was. Rove, too, is now more in the public's eye. And neither one is necessarily out of the water yet.

4. you're right
100% agreed. I would never have believed whatI've seen on television lately. This investigation has made so many people stand up Brent Scowcroft, the CIA guy who wrote of corruption in the US occupation gov't in Iraq, etc.

Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see more justice done with re: the Plame Case, but the influence of this investigation so far (even without more indictments) is undeniable.
