Use the leak case for new spotlight on Downing Street Memos
they are, in fact, the best evidence we have for their criminal conspiracy.

Please inform your media again. Maybe they have now the willingness to listen and report.

1. There are pending calls for investigations in the Senate
Sen. Dianne Feinstein to Senator Pat Roberts, Chairman of the Intelligence Committee:

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) is urging the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence to complete its investigation into the use of intelligence by policymakers prior to the Iraq War, with additional attention paid to the “ Downing Street Memo” and the “CURVEBALL” case. Senator Feinstein is a member of the Intelligence Committee.

Sen. John Kerry's letter to Senator Pat Roberts, Chairman of the Intelligence Committee:

The minutes reveal that President "Bush wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy."

The American people took the warnings that the administration sounded seriously-warnings that were echoed at the United Nations and here in Congress as we voted to give the president the authority to go to war. For the sake of our democracy and our future national security, the public must know whether such warnings were driven by facts and responsible intelligence, or by political calculation.

All Dem Senators (actually all Senators, but, sigh, you know) should sign these calls for accountability. They are still pending.

2. Good.
please also consider this for the coming trial:

For bureaucratic reasons, we settled on one issue, weapons of mass destruction (as justification for invading Iraq) because it was the one reason everyone could agree on.

That turns to a new meaning.
