4 p.m. ET: Does the nomination of Judge Alito make the Supreme Court too much of an “old boys club”?

6. Sadly, we'd still be left with the flaming wreckage . . .

and floating turds his escapades have left behind.

No success to be found here. Resignation would be helpful in that whoever took over (who is President Pro Tempore of the senate these days, anyway?) would be so hamstrung by the Bush ouster that he couldn't get away with too much insanity.

What I said in my message to CNN was something along the lines of "since Bush doesn't care about governing except for his base, he can claim success if he rams Alito through and makes the tax cuts permanent. That will satisfy his base and the rest of us can just go jump."

2. Libby the end? - Not with the motion filed with the indictment
Notice on Friday that when CNN (you) reported the indictment was handed to the judge, that a motion was handed to the judge as well. CNN called it “extremely rare” for a motion to be filed with an indictment. Since Fitzgerald has not empanelled a new Grand Jury, we must conclude that the motion was either a sealed indictment or some other sealed business that we are not privy too and shows that this investigation has something left to offer.

4. Here's a copy of what I sent in...
Absolutely not. The American people deserve some answers and some accountability. A serious crime has been committed against a CIA Agent and the citizens of this country. This administration is UNDER A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION! Americans expect journalists to DO THEIR JOBS and keep this story on the front burner where it belongs. Thank you for your time.
