Thought I'd share FR comments on Fallujah/Sgrena/Phosphorus
From: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1517409/posts#comment?q=1

Not much sympathy (on the part of Freepers) towards Iraqis if the Italian claims are true. Freeper comments below:

Sgrena- isn't that the b*tch that accused US forces of trying to kill her and talked about how heroic Zarqawi was at the battle of Fallujah? The answer is yes.

Fallujah was a military victory.
Thank You George W. Bush.

says one former US solider, interviewed by the documentary's director, Sigfrido Ranucci.
Name please? This must be verified because you, Sigfrido have no credibility.

I highly doubt it. It would simply be stupid, given that WMD was one of the main reasons for the war, for us to use it.

I had gathered testimonials on the use of phosphorous and Napalm in Iraq from several refugees from Fallujah, and wanted to tell the world about it, but my kidnappers would not allow me to," said Italian journalist Giuliana Sgrena, held hostage in Iraq earlier this year, during the documentary.
Uh huh. Sure, and your kidnappers motive in supressing this information was what?

LOL! That's a defoliant that hasn't been made in 30 years.

Yep. But it doesn't stop them from dredging it up again. When you have nothing else, try anything I suppose.

Vanity Fair will do an eight page expose of this "heroes" story, just like they did for Felt and Wilson.
I wonder if Timmy Russert's wife (at Vanity Fair) makes more than Timmy? Or do the Dems (Hillary) do: "One for you, one for you".

"The leftists will lie thru their teeth at every turn. I'm sure the NY Times will run with this next."

We know the truth, but the damage will already be done if they go ahead with this documentary.
The people will believe the lies and it will hurt our cause their.

Leftists are hellbent on destroying anything good and civil.

No, but I did want to see their reaction to this. I'd followed Sgrena and periodic rumors of napalm use, but this Italian documentary really seems to pull it all together. I imagine Bush was in a bind, trying to get a quick success in Fallujah at election time. These allegations, if true (and disseminated to the Iraqi populace) will really put our troops at risk, IMO.

You're right, but I thought there was a build-up there the week prior to the election. Who knows when the OK was given to use these tactics.

Actually, I thought that was the only intelligent comment in the post. You can see Bush's support erode even further with these revelations.
