Does anybody have a link to the Obama interview on Daily Show?
Wondering if there's anywhere I can find the link to the daily show with Obama on it. I would really really really really really appreciate it!

Thanks!

1. Sorry, no. Obama sounded better than ever--enuf so that I wondered . . .
about extent to which questions had been pre-vetted.

Sorry if I'm being overly-cynical, but w/o having investigated, I have to ask whether that much hype could have been mustered so quickly about anyone unless he were backed by the same Dems. who seem to have done, well, way too little for a long time lately.

4. questions are not discussed in advance
on The Daily Show.

if that's what you mean? They are on many shows, but they most definitely are not on TDS.

5. I understand your cynicism but...
...Obama is nothing if not witty, for real. He's quick on his feet and so is Jon Stewart--the enjoyment they both had in the banter was obvious.

The hype is not an "overnight" thing for us in IL - yes, like he said, he did speak out passionately against the war before it started from his vantage point in Springfield (IL State Senate at the time), I remember it well. He was there for almost a decade before making his US Senate bid. Not a newbie and not out of nowhere.

Also that book is 10 years old and it's a great read. (I do concede that good writers have an unfair advantage when it comes to winning my heart, so maybe I'm not so impartial.)

2. It might show up on Crooks and Liars
This is a site that sometimes posts Daily Show interviews. Sorry, I wish there was a better place too - I miss the Daily Show!
