The 3 most severe scandals (Dem v. Rep)
A Democrat sees the 3 most severe scandals as being:
Iran-Contra
Plamegate
Watergate

A Republican sees the 3 most severe scandals as being:
Monicagate
Travelgate
Filegate

Is this accurate or not?

4. Harding
Though he himself wasn't directly implicated, most of those involved were his appointees.

He was Republican, if memory serves.

5. Warren G. Harding (R)
He was an oily Republican, just like everybody in the current Regime.

The thing about the Puke list of favorite Dem scandals is that 2 out of 3 were actually disproven by their own maniacal Special Prosecutor, Starr. The only true part was the BJs, which had nothing whatsoever to do with running the country.

9. Supposedly he held up the runways for several hours at LAX
While getting a $200 haircut.

Of course, hardly any aspect of this story is true. The amount was never disclosed (or if he had to pay anything at all) and the $200 figure was based on the stylists going rate at the time. More importantly, the bit about him delaying flights is just bullshit. Completely made up by the right wing.

The amazing thing is that there are still people out there today who not only think this is true, but will bring it up with a hint of rage in their voices.

Its quite pathetic.

6. heheh, it just shows to go ya..
The Reeps are sex-pleasure obsessed greedmongers still trying to look Puritan..

.. while the Dems are wild and crazy folx who like to have a good time even though it might look immoral to people still trying to hold the morality high ground, while stealing and killing and thieving their way to power.

I know which one I have contempt for ...

I think Reeps need serious psychoanalysis.

7. Can we PLEASE quit calling every scandal...
Whatever-gate. Watergate was 30 years ago. Isn't it about time that we came up with another scandal suffix?

I nominate "l' affaire d'-X" :)

8. FReepers are also pissed about Clinton and China
I'm not sure exactly why. Most of their arguments have since been debunked and discredited.

But they contend that Clinton sold us out to China, and that China is on the verge of taking us over because of Clinton.

Odd, though, that they aren't so concerned about that now...

And then, of course, a lot of the real nuts are still pissed about Waco. And there was that whole "Freemen" thing in Montana...

I've found that Randy Weaver is another name that quickly whips Repubs into a frenzy.
