5. Franken really should listen to Stephanie Miller's show
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 01:05 PM by drbtg1
You have a great point that he needs someone else, most people do. Even Don Imus and Howard Stern have their gangs.

This is why I think Ms. Miller can set a great example. I don't think he should simply copy it, but listen to it enough to realize having Katherine was a mistake. She's a nice person, but she's made for NPR. If he listens to Ms. Miller, maybe he'd know he should have a couple of liberal comedians/researchers (NOT ex-TeamFranken people) to be his wingmen. (And if/when Franken runs for Senate, the wingmen could take over the show if they're good enough. Of course, that idea would require competant management at Air America, which is completely absent in Danny Goldberg.)

It's a shame. So much wasted potential with Franken's show.

12. I agree
The show needs improvment but I for one don't miss Miss NPR Prim and Proper. Her fake laughs were annoying as hell. If you dont think it's funny just don't laugh.

2. It has become impossible for me to listen,
and I miss having him on here at work. Al has really fallen apart since Katherine left.

8. Al sounds strange this week.
Kinda low key.

Is something bad with his health? Is he waiting for a liver transplant? Or was that just a joke that I heard him do last month?

11. She got a contract to write a book about her move from Minnesota
for a new division of Time-Warner, which contracted her from an article she wrote for the NY Times. Unfortunately, she has to get the first draft of it to them by the first of the year, so she had to start devoting every minute to the book.
