Voting Complaint
My polling location is at an elementary school. Both sides of the street are marked with no parking signs and there are only **SEVEN** total parking spaces available. I've complained to my local election board several times in the past - all to no avail. Suggestions?

2. Right, drive up onto the property.
Just don't leave your car too close to the road or blocking the sidewalk.

3. Don't I wish....
They have these big pipe barriers that prevent that. They appear to be about 6 inches across, filled with concrete, and spaced about every 3 feet or so. I guess they are supposed to keep parents from parking on the lawn.

Today they even used orange traffic cones to block off the two handicapped parking spaces. Did I mention there are a lot of elderly voters in this preceinct?

10. Yes it is
and I have walked the mile and a half or so from my home to the poll before. I've also driven there on my lunch break only to be unable to find any parking within a half mile. The seven parking places were completely taken (or blocked off) when I went to vote at 10:15 this morning - and the only measures on our ballot were school bonds. It gets very frustrating when there is heavy voter turnout. If I were handicapped or disabled I wouldn't even think I trying to vote there. Ever. There are definite accessibility issues and have been for years. I'm just saying....
