35. Well, the county you're looking at is Ventura County |
|
... and the percentage you're looking at is the percentage of votes counted in whichever way (Y or N) is leading, NOT the percentage of precincts (or votes) counted in the county.
In other words, the 55% you see in Ventura County means that of the (57.7% of) votes counted, 55% (54.7% rounded) voted 'Y' and 45% voted 'N' ... which is not surprising for Ventura County which is mostly Repiglickers.

And think its because of all those 60's hippies that migrated to Frisco. :smoke:
Here in Los Angeles county we are a big mix of all types from all over the country and the world who've migrated here (L.A. is a BIG Mixing Pot). Most of us are progressive, but not quite as informed as San Fransicians. IMO

Fundies showed-up to vote on that idiot prop 73 (abortion) and are wreaking havoc on the other props.
Prop 75: I see 50.9 to 49.1 favoring 75 right now with 42.5% of precincts reporting.

That's why he trotted out the SchwarzenShriver bobble head doll so early. He wouldn't have to give a proper concession speech so we could point at him and laugh at his defeat.
I will point at him and laugh nonetheless.
