From what I just heard on the news, the chair refused to make them swear an oath to tell the truth!
Apparently, Cantwell moved for that and the chair said 'no'. Then, another Senator seconded and the chair said, 'we're not going to hear any more about it'.
Outrageous!

They played a clip of it. It is streaming on CSPAN3 (just tuned into it). IIRC, Grassley is the chair but I could be mistaken on that.
edit to correct: From the CSPAN tag, it looks like this is the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee. Ted Stevens is Chair.
