So can we all agree now that Rove is no genius?
Edited on Fri Nov-11-05 07:12 PM by Marr
That idiot and his pet moron GW Bush have been getting by on 9-11 since 9-12. Seriously- what kind of fool uses a Veteran's Day speech for partisan attacks, AFTER having announced publicly that the WH has a new strategy and plans to "go on the offensive" against their critics?

And as if that weren't enough, this particular offensive references the very subject people are most angry about on the day they're most angry about it; the Bush Administration's Iraq invasion con job.

If they'd had any sense they would've had Bush get up and make a brief, polite speech and go back into hiding.

Again and again I see these guys somehow manage to make the worst possible move at the worst possible time. Rove is an idiot.

1. Gotta admit it, you're right!
Rove had his moments, but overall he's an idiot.

4. He's no genius
just unencumbered by such things as ethics, honesty, respect for humanity. He is willing to do WHATEVER it takes to win, and has been successful as result.

5. It doesnt take a genius to be mean.
It just takes the willingness to do it. It makes him shallow.

8. That Toad of Darkness, Karl Rove
he just keeps pulling the same crap over & over, from out of his poison sacs.
Just a nasty party hack - I don't see any evidence of good judgment on his part, let alone genius.

9. From the time I read the Atlantic article on that fat pig ("Karl Rove
in a Corner"), I knew this fat turd was not a "genius", but merely a tawdry town gossip, and a cheater. Simple as that: I knew people who cheated their way to the top of their class. They were hailed as "geniuses". Same goes for Fat Karl--though he never even got his bachelor's degree.

His is their Rasputin--which makes Bush the czarina. (Sorry, Alexandria.)

10. KKKarl's too distracted now to even care.
Personally I think he is very much a genius. How else does one explain the way he presented the biggest moron (excuse me, "moran") in American history and pass him off to even a handful of Americans as the greatest thing since sliced bread. Granted, the magic is finally wearing off, which is why they are resorting to such desperate measures. But even so, to fool so many people into loving this dip-shit, that takes a genius in my book. An evil genius, yes, but genius nonetheless.

14. But he didn't.
Look at the 2001 election. Bush had more friendly media coverage than Gore did, he had massive campaign funds, he had an entire right wing submedia campaigning for him 24-7... and the moron still lost.

Bush had a low approval rating right up to 9-10-01. Rove's never been anything but a juvenile delinquent in an aging fat man's body. Most overrated man of the last 30 years.

12. Don't know who is responsible, but it is miraculous
It is miraculous that a man of Bush's meager capabilities and obvious shortcomings was installed as President, pillaged the national treasury, raped the environment, handed trillions to corporate friends, lied his way to an unecessary and unsuccessful war, installed lobbyists and cronies in all departments, cowed or otherwise controlled the press, drove the education system into a ditch, thumbed his nose at middle America, marginalized people of science and education, turned his back on people in need in New Orleans, brought back Negroponte and Poindexter and Armitage, distanced himself from traditional foreign country friends while at the same time told his enemies to bring it on, has a problem with alcohol and maybe drugs, cut veterans benefits, booted social security reform, ran another country into the ground with incompetent management, talks about the patriotism but was probably AWOL, used a fake journalist in press conferences to give softball questions, wouldn't talk to 9/11 commission all by himself without Cheney so that commissioners "could see how well they work together", sits for seven minutes during an attack on the US reading My Pet Goat, used universally reviled chemical weapons on civilians, is a walking reverse Midas but won't admit a mistake or bad news, has virtually no redeeming qualities as a president or businessman or thinker that I can see, IS AFRAID OF HORSES, FALLS OFF HIS BIKE, CHOKES ON PRETZELS....

....and is #%!!$& STILL IN OFFICE!!!

They probably can't believe they've gotten away with as much as they have! I venture to say that in the beginning they expected all kinds of outrage, disgrace, bad press, etc over the years and still thought that pursuit of a radical agenda would be worth it.

So...I don't know if it's Rove or someone else responsible, but the fact that this Bush guy was inaugurated then went rogue while we have watched and then didn't prevent another term is...AMAZING and MIND-BLOWING!

And...He's...Still....There.

13. Nefarious types always think they are smarter. Cause they don't
have anything holding them back.. and they cannot believe all the "stupidity" that holds most human beings back. Called frontal lobes.

Lack of the ability to empathize doesn't make them brilliant - it makes them nasty and dimishing all they touch as they insist we all adore their perfection and greatness.
