Bernie I love you, I do, but the we went to war for Israel pisses me off... and I will tell you why... (and yes it is a far more complex response for the we needed to defend Israel was given to the weak minded like your caller), We went to war for the strategic control of oil for Peak Oil is near us. We went to war to create an Empire, and the reasons for war are stated clearly in the PNAC plan. Israel is not the reason but incidental, for that piece of ground is strategic and has been strategic since the Assyrians were going at it with the Ancient Egyptians.

This is a way to get people to blame Israel when we finally loose. Now as a daughter of the holocaust this worries me... and yes images of camps and other horrors (not only for my people for we have them right now for Muslims aka Guantanamo, and yes I did send an Amicus Brief to the court when the case came before the USSC, and have sent my latest action to the Congress of the US because of the Warner stupid bill) are the nightmares that keep me awake at night.

Now you are right in accusing them of putting another country before the US... but they were given that excuse, we are going to war because Sadamn is supporting the terrarists (he was, never mind the groups were not tied to the Base, aka AQ), as part of the myriad of shifting reasons for war.

I know you understand this and with the simple minded it is difficult to go there... but the policy, we needed a new Pearl Harbor and I fear they are hoping for another 9.11 event to save their bacon, for their asses belong at the International Court for war Crimes... the Nuremberg indictments fit here.
