He's not as beholden to various Republican factors, knowing he is unlikely to run for another term because of his battles with lymphoma.

my husband worked through 2 years of cancer treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. In fact, he worked until the day he was admitted to ICU where he later passed on. It all depends on the person.

even people with a "R" after their name have constructive things to say. Spector is a traditional Republican, he's upfront about it, and he doesn't fail to speak his mind. He knows his party has been hijacked.
As a personal aside, that has nothing to do with politics, I'm glad to see that his hair is coming back and I hope that his treatment has been successful.
