Cheney's favorability rating is at 19%! The only reason why Bush had had any electoral sucess is because his stupidity is what attracts apolitical and "bubba" voters. The bubbas won't vote for Cheney, neither will a lot of 2004 Bush voters. Cheney would face the same problem that Gore did in 2000 in trying to retain all of Clinton's voters, only with Cheney he won't actually win.
