Yes, this is great theater, and we are watching just how low the Republicans can stoop in this sham. But most Americans will only read the headlines.

The Democrats have got to be careful. The Republicans are too good at hoisting their own demons on their enemies. Let's hope this goes well. I am especially worried that the GOP can't afford a debate on whether the war has been waged badly. "Hence the desperate deception about this being "Murtha's Resolution".
