There is also a question to vote on in article regarding Cindy possibly exploiting the death of her son. So far the poll is going to her benefit and hopefully it will not be freeped.

on edit: I just found it on Amazon!

3. Okay explain something
Here is a snippet from the article:

A month later, McLennan County commissioners approved the new ordinances, which prohibit parking on parts of 14 roads near the ranch — roughly a 5-mile radius — and prohibit camping in any county ditch. The laws also ban portable toilets in ditches.

I was there and I don't remember any portable toilets in ditches. Was I just not very observant?

4. People should not presume to know anything about this relationship.
It is a sacred one between any Mother and her Child. It is a sacrilege to judge it.

You show those war-loving, anti-american, don't-care-about-the-troops right-wingers! I hope she puts these fools in their place!

6. Another book I'll never read
Just like Michael Moore's "They'll Never Trust Us Again." I just have too much of a depressive personality. Maybe it'll be a good book for someone who has no idea what the hell is going on over there or lacks enough imagination to figure it out from the news.

Maybe I'll write a book about Cindy Sheehan, God bless her:

Cindy Sheehan: How One Ordinary Woman Took on the Most Powerful Man in the World

11. I saw it once, in the theater, b/c my mom wanted me to go
I DO have the stomach for "that sort of stuff" when necessary (e.g., I show all kinds of pictures to my students of the camps when we read The Diary of Anne Frank).

But I've certainly never watched Schindler's List again, especially since it's PG-13, meaning my school district won't allow us to even play clips from it. Schindler's List and the traveling Holocaust memorial, in fact, were the reason that my school district enacted the PG-13 rule.

7. I'll bet that
she donates all the proceeds to her cause. I'd be disappointed if she didn't. She just seems like that kind of person to me, to not want to make money off her son's memory. Or at least money for personal gain. Money for her cause wouldn't be exploiting in my opinion. But it's just my opinion.
