2. Kerry won by 3-10 million votes; Senate majority is there |
|
illegitimately as well; book written to kickstart a movement of electoral reform not to change the outcome of the last election.

4. I saw Kerry Friday night, it was a very good meeting, he didn't say it was |
|
off the record, he thinks it was stolen, too.
Why didn't he do anything a year ago? Because he was surrounded by imbeciles - people who have made a career of losing elections.
Edwards was steamed.
They are telling me that if I don't concede they are going to call us 'sore losers'.

to the Right instead of taking charge of the conversation. :nuke:

the Republicans wouldn't cry bloody murder? They have done it for less. Look at Whitewater. They went nuts over that and WW was nothing. Bush and Cheney's financial dealings are far more serious than Clintons. If Al Gore recieved what basically amounts to a salary from a Halliburton type company when he was in office, he would have been strung up. Instead, our guys barely make a peep. If Dems gave Republicans the kind of fodder they do to us it would be lights out on us forever. And, still we have our professional loser class of the Dem party trying to make nice. Blah..

Dems can be shameless, but Republicans have unmitigated gall to go along with a coward's willingness to stab anybody in the back no matter how low the cheap shot may be. And, afterwards they'll feign shock at the "Liberal Attack Machine." :)

Hey, help us save CA from Diebold so we have a chance in hell.
Maybe it will trip national outrage at our disappearing votes!

No kidding. I remember reading LTTEs in the local paper here in Tucson, at the time when Kerry was getting "Swift Boated" that whole August when he really never said much at all, and the RNC was going on with Cheney, Zell and all the craze-O's giving venomous speeches, some people were screaming about the "Liberal Attack Machine" never leaving Bush along. I was just thinking: "WTF are these guys talking about?" haha It's ludicrous. One thing all of us need to know is that the GOP cultivates a "victim mentality" very well. The Liberal Media is out to get us. The Liberal Homosexual Agenda is going to insert gay people into every home! Liberals are out to attack the President. Oh, they are undermining our troops. Liberals are aiding the terrorists and undermining the War on Terror. Liberals want to raise taxes hurting American families. Everything is victim, victim, victim. All the time, and they are good at it. Even at a time when they control everything. It's truly interesting to see, pretty shitty to live in, but interesting to watch how they get this message across.

7. Have you read the book, yet? I order my copy the same day |
|
that Mark was on Morning Sedition and DemocracyNow! -- I still haven't gotten it - :(
Also, sfexpat - I would like to hear Mark do an extended interview on Randi Rhodes. I don't see Al Franken helping us anytime soon :( -- but I would think that Randi would be open to helping publicize Mark's book.
Do you have ideas that would get Mark on Randi's show? and on Majority Report? Both would be good platforms, do you think?

I took a group of people to one of his SF readings, bought two copies and gave both away. LOL! So, NO! I haven't read it yet!
I'll have to get my copy from Amazon! lol
He led a GREAT conversation. Best I've attended, in fact.
