Gee! Law and Order is becoming really political! |
|
Did you watch L&O SVU tonight? They portrayed a gov't coverup of anthrax, and even mentioned how the Patriot Act lets them get away with the secrecy. Then they had Olivia give the story to a rookie reporter who went to jail for not releasing his source.

2. Oh, I'm a real fan too! I just didn't recall so much direct |

shots before. I remember the slap about the "Vote for DeLay tee shirt", but this one is also a direct shot between the eyes!

Not only does it star Sam Waterston and the late Jerry Orbach, the later episodes have Senator Fred Dalton Thompson. Yes, I know he's a Repug, and yes, I know that he puts his politics into the part, but it's a fun program and I can ignore Thompson's political asides.
I don't know why I like that program so much. Maybe it's that sound... Dong! Dongggg!
Naw!! I think it's Detective Lennie Briscoe's wisecracks and his never ending search for doughnuts. ;-)

Maybe it'll wake up some of the dim bulbs.
