I will personally commit to fundraise $100,000 to remove Lieberman from |
|
the Senate. Any real Dem willing to run against him can count on me to help defeat that sob DINO. Fuck you Joejism, go lay another kiss on the monkey boy's ass you fascist sellout.

2. We used to have good, decent republicans in this country |
|
and I've HATED Lieberman since he defeated one of them using the Cuba issue to do it.
When is he up for re-election?

as much as I despise Joe's selling out, I'd rather raise that money to get rid of a Republican. Joe has strong support in his state and he would be a D in the majority column (if we can get a majority).

4. He has a 69% favorability rating in his state. |
|
Good luck finding someone that can beat him AND win the General Election.

8. I highly doubt those numbers and I wonder who sponsored the poll? |
|
Given his positions and support of fascism and international war crimes I think perhaps a good primary fight is in order. Education and information about his record would enlighten many.

14. They are from Survey USA a polliing organization we always tout.... |
|
(it currently shows only two states having Bush favorability ratings above his unfavorability ratings).
I believe it is because Lieberman is one of the most liberal senators on a host of issues including: abortion, labor, civil-rights, gay-rights, education, budget, etc. etc. etc.
Another reason to believe the polls is the fact that no Democrat is running against him at a time where its almost too late to join a race.

17. I guess time will tell. |
|
So...how many Democratic challengers are currently lined up against him? There must be a lot if he's that vulnerable! Its getting pretty late to join, so his challengers pretty much have to have committed by now.
So, how many are there? Can you tell us about them?

20. I wish I could. The people of CT are sick of him, but the politicians |
|
have no guts. He's the Dem party's guy, so no other Dems will step up to the plate.
You know the "close the ranks" routine. It's really bad here in Connecticut.

But if I had a $100K, I would put it toward removing people (if you can call them that) like Delay, Schmidt, and Santorum.

He's done enough damage to this state already.
And the asshole broke about 100 environmental regulations when he built his McMansion near the Connecticut River.

19. Lieberman is better on social issues, and the ACLU |
|
gives the guy high ratings. Yes, he's a hawk and yes, he's antilabor on economic issues, but look at who he represents.
I'm perfectly OK with leaving him where he is. I will fight tooth and nail to keep him out of the executive branch.

22. He is voting what he truly believes. Surely we have not morphed |
|
into our enemies and start attacking those who hold opposing views?
The neocons would really like to teach us that. They also want the Israel vote and hope that if Joe crosses the floor that many in Florida and elsewhere will follow.
How Rove won Texas from the Dems. He "flipped" a few key democratic leaders.
Apparently - despite name calling - Joe has never considered that. Because he knows that he is a dem - just not on Israel.
He is voting with what he knows about the world.
It is different that what I know about the world. But he isn't lying or making stuff up. He is just a hawk on Israel.
He represents a swatch of the Democratic party. He also has the support of his district. That's called democracy.
