Not because of Ron Reagan, he is great. But because of that witch, Monica Crowley. She is so intent on pushing the kool-aid lines of this Administration that Ron Reagan's honest approach cannot compete with her propaganda lines. I hope Ron catches on somewhere else - without Monica Crowley. But I'm glad this show is cancelled.

1. I hope Ron gets picked up from someone else also.
He's very good.

2. Always laughed at the two Crowley woman....
both worthless. Big pig Crowley(crawley) of CNN and stiff-neck Monica Crowley. Monica was so stiff, afraid to move her head and mess up her bleech blond hair.

10. I regard them as the "Creepy Crowleys"

3. I used to like it in the begining
Because both sides would put their point across without it degenerating into a shouting contest like on crossfire, but thats what it became eventually.

4. Hadn't heard it's getting cancelled
Too bad for Ron, though. I've said it a million times...if they want to succeed in the ratings, go Liberal! Put one or two in your face Liberals with credentials (maybe Bill Press or Bill Moyers, for instance) on between 4pm - 7pm!

If they can put "conservative" Joe Scarborough, and "conservative" Tucker Carlson on (as defined in the shows' descrptions), then they can do "liberal" also. They'll kick ass and take no prisoners if they do!!!

5. Im a big fan of Press
I dont believe Moyers would do a daily talk show as great as that would be but Im sure Press would.

9. I'm sure Press would, too!
I think he'd do a great job! He certainly has the experience, knowledge, and Liberal credentials.

6. Ron would make an excellent Dem talking head
for the news shows. He laughs easily and has the facts down pretty good. He's very pervasive.

7. It is absolutely the worst show on television
I just came across it looking for info on the Marine situation and Monica Crowley was able to make sweeping statements about Democrats without any balance whatsoever. It seemed like she was never going to shut up so I turned it off.

11. Monica Crowley's the reason I rarely tuned in
I happened to catch it on those fes days when it was just Ron and it was much better!

Give Ron a 4-5 or 4-6 slot and give Bill Press a 5-7 or 6-7 slot!!!

8. Ron should have his own show. I'm sure he could get plenty of guests.
He really is thoughtful and smart and has enough 'gravitas' to stand on his own with a show.

12. I'm a big fan of Ron, and thought she was better than at Fox
I'm afraid it means MSNBC is going to move further towards being inconsequential from 9 AM to 3 PM EST. They might as just get Greta to run 6 hours of Beth Holloway every day. They have clearly decided to focus more on non news stories.

13. Got a link?
I'd like to find out more, and nothing on Google search.

I have mixed feelings about this. I think Ron Reagan has great potential, and is a needed voice of reason from the left on the MSM.

But he's wasted in this format. It just becomes another zero-sum clash of talking points when he is teamed up with Monica Crowley.

Also the whole show is so robotic. It's like a machine that slams out pre-fab "controversy.

But I hope to hell MSNBC or someone gives Ron a regular forum.

14. MSNBC is sooooo irrelevant. Hate to see Ron leave, maybe we
should all contact MSNBC and ask them to let Ron have his own show!!

15. Personally I think Ron should go to the networks -
in particular, Rather's old seat. I know they are talking with Couric but she is just cute - no gravitas.

Reagan would have immediate appeal to the blue hairs and Repugs because of who is daddy was and the the dems because of who he is.

16. I doesn't surprise me one bit..
The way MSRNC insists on structuring their shows, plants the seed of demise as they start them up.

They are SO insistent on "balance" that they end up with nothing worth watching.

If they have an hour to kill, why not give "the liberal" a half hour and "the conservative" a half hour. At least for a half hour, there would be no petty sniping, faux arguing, interrupting, etc.

Perhaps the guests that each would invite, would have some time to actually voice a complete thought.

These "news networks" are such a joke to start with, but with some tweaking, they could actually do a public service. Instead of "light", we get little more than heat..."Low" heat at that.

I cannot understand why they don't just try an experiment for about 3 months. Theit ratings suck already, so they have nothing really to lose..

They should break all their programming into ONE hour segments, and turn the hosts loose..let them invite whoever they want, and talk about whatever they like..

All liberal hosts for 3 hours, then a conservative for 3 hours...rinse & repeat.. The proof would be in the pudding.

Let the public tell THEM who they want to see. They could ask for suggestions on hosts..

Adverisers want eyes on their commercials..they really don't care what political party they are. MSRNC has managed to offend BOTH groups of people who would watch their programming, so it's no wonder the network is struggling..

Having a liberal AND a conservative "sharing" the same show is like getting a big ole scoop of ice cream, only to find out it has "poop sprinkles" on top.
