The soldiers in Iraq do not realize that the important war is at home and
it is on CHRISTMAS!!!Listened all day while I was cooking to the station that services the Ft. Hood area. That were three things on. Christmas music, AP news, and messages from the soldiers in Iraq for their families in the listening area. Without fail, they ALL said "Happy Holidays". Some added "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" at the end of their messages but they almost all started out with Happy holidays. All said that they missed their families and would see them soon. Sure hope that is true.

1. Soldiers can only fight the "war" at home as voters or
as elected officials. And it is great to see so many military throw their hats into the ring as Democratic and Progessive candidates.

3. I cannot blame our troops...
First of all, many of them are very young. Whether they know it or not, they are putting their lives on the line. For whom? For you? For me? For George Bush? For Mobil Oil? For freedom? For an "unnecessary" war? But it doesn't really matter. Their lives are on the line just the same. I'm on their side.

4. Sorry if it seemed to be "blaming" our troops. I was being sarcastic (or
trying to be). It was very hard and sad to hear these guys so far away from home and family for no good reason.

8. That is a concerted effort to destroy the individual' s freedom by the
bush administration. Their supreme love of power and hatred of the individual person is behind every "war" they perpetrate.
