I did ask - Five hours ago - at your website... where I sent in a request. You did not answer and I have been editing video all day.

I thought the key here is getting the information out?

I put HUGE logos of Canofun on the page along 'with presented by' the two sites as I had some footage I found as well.

I am also saving you some bandwidth by mirroring it.

I was more interested in getting the message out - than stamping on anyone's toes.

I work my ass off as a volunteer for chris-floyd.com and my primary interest is getting the information out but I can see you are more interested in other things.

I felt that putting your logo all over the page and video would suffice as I spliced my video into yours in order to create another visual with impact.

I did not steal any bandwidth from you - which is good. Most webmasters block other sites who link directly to their videos - and prefer that they download them themselves.

Anyway. Your little tirade here and at Bradblog's as well as your messages accusing basically of being a thief means I am out.

I am not going to waste my time volunteering for a country that is not my own... I'm a Dutch-Canadian and all I am was concerned about is was a greater good rather than infighting over petty issues like you have just done... requesting that I remove any logos from your site of yours (which linked to your site).

I have so many other ways of getting the word out and getting other eyeballs there, I felt it was important to add some text and links around the video so others who are not so well versed in US politics can understand the gravity of the situation.

As for the RM's? Sure, I use EO Video and convert them all the time - it's the press of a button.

I will help Chris Floyd keep his site up and running but that's it.

17. Sorry you feel that way. I reiterate that I think it's only good manners

to ask. You may decide how you want to run your own site and I can decide for mine. Imagine if I were to, without permission, put the site logo for Democraticunderground on my own site, next to my own logo. I don't think it would be appropriate and at the very least, I would ask first. I also think I was quite polite in asking you to please take my site logo off Chris Floyd-I told you I had no problem with you leaving a link, since you had taken the video I created in the first place, and it was only right that you acknowledge that. I don't know why you would find that upsetting, obviously you do.

On my site, I have asked that people link to the video and not copy it, at least not without permission. If you choose to run your website another way, that's your prerogative.

I also don't think it's a tirade, after what you decided to do yourself, to ask you to ask for permission next time and to please remove my picture site logos from your site. Since you didn't ask first, surely you would not deny me the opportunity to say what I would like done with material I worked on and how I would like them presented.
