In the absence of leadership will America go the way of the Roman Empire?
VHeadline.com commentarist Mary MacElveen writes: At the World Summit that took place this past September at the United Nations, President Hugo Chavez had this to say to the American people of Bush: “that Bush cannot be trusted and warned world leaders, too." President Chavez has even dubbed the United States government as being ‘imperialist” and it is about time that Americans wake up to this fact. Some have, but not nearly enough.

In closing I would like to add that
there has been another tireless leader working for the people and his name is Congressman John Conyers (D-Mich) who in an email sent out to many has cited: “The Constitution in Crisis: The Downing Street Minutes and Deception, Manipulation, Torture, Retribution and Cover-ups in the Iraq War.”
Does anyone still remember the Downing Street Memo where Bush fixed the intelligence to fit with his desire to invade Iraq?
Congressman Conyers also stated: “I have introduced a resolution creating a Select Committee with subpoena authority to investigate the misconduct of the Bush Administration with regard to the Iraq war and report on possible impeachable offenses; as well as Resolutions proposing both President Bush and Vice-President Cheney should be censured by Congress based on the uncontroverted evidence of their abuse of power.”
America deserves more leadership like this coming from Cong. Conyers if we are ever going to renew the American spirit. He has invited all to take part in this action: Calls for Censure of President Bush and Vice President Cheney.More:
