That sounds like US? Where are you from?
*sniff* *sniff*
edit: The truth is there are many parallels b/t the rise of fascism in Germany during the 1920/30s and what is happening now. Habeus corpus? Gone. Free speech Zones? Hello! Massive arms industry... well? Simplfying complex problems for the public to gain support? Hell yes.
There are certainly parallels, and the talking heads that try to disregard the valid correlation as partisinship are as treasonous as the Luxembourgs!

4. Very confusing spread. |

But the main mistake I found is that the left didn't come together to defend Clinton in the 1990s. There was no organized push to ward off the right-wing onslaught. That's why they marched in the way they did. Sorry Trudeau, but if we're going to continue with the Nazi metaphors, the left in the 1990s, was France in WWII.

...has been made through war profiteering. During WWII it was the Silesian Steel company manned by slave labor, today it is Carlyle, Bechtel, and Halliburton. His wasn't nor is it now the only family, many of america's most wealthy and priveleged families make profits from war and conquest. Anyone who can't see it is as blind as a bat. Now that is what is deplorable.
No mystery about the contemporary deaths as a result- tens of thousands of Iraqis and hundreds of Americans in an illegal war based on lies. Nor about the huge financial and economic costs of transferring americas future wealth to private war corproteers to fund unsuccessful and harebrained schemes of conquest.
