1. Was that Bush's position in 2000?

States Rights? You gotta be fucking kidding me? We have a 'Democrat' running on a balance the budget and States Rights platform? And he hopes to oppose a a guy who is running on a slash the government and States Rights platform? Never mind the fact that States Rights is the Republican/Dixiecrat ambit, and that Democrats have been fighting for federalism in one form or another since William Jennings Bryan; what I want to know is, what's the difference between Bush and Dean? Bush is taller, fitter, and opposes abortion. I suppose being for Roe v. Wade is some kind of start, but it hardly seems enough to get excited about. It's incredible: the Greens are making sense. The parties are becoming indistinguishable.

3. off subject.....kinda
we are still on ignore on Capital Gang.....you know, the Mediawhores were ordered not to mention Clark!........they ain't.

Instead they want Dean, Dean.....

So that when Bush gives his big 9/11/04 speech on the last day of the Repug convention in New York....they can really have a laugh at the Democratic candidate that has no foreign policy experience.

Do you think that those Right Wing Confederate Flag Waving bigots will vote for Dean then?

4. I don't even own a TV, so I have no idea

what goes on on those talking whore programs. I heard last week that Clark didn't get a single mention, even with regards to South Carolina. Is it going to happen again this week?

One of the things about Dean's sticking a foot in his mouth for the umpteenth time is that it will get him all sorts of media attention, and judging from the Wonder Bread people here, the voting bloc he obviously cares most about won't find his words upsetting: it's simply free publicity, and squeezes other candidates out of the picture. So is Clark going to go unmentioned again on the talking whore circuit because of this?

5. Don't bet on it......
they will whore for Dean for as long as they can, or until the he is the candidate. They already look so obvious and don't even care.

Al Sharpton will probably bring it up along with Dean's stance on AA.

But I still think that the Whores will try and look the other way.

They are still playing the "Praise Bush" video of Clark....still cutting off the last sentence and all. They saw how well that worked...so they are keeping at it.

Sad part, is that to some degree, it's working....

But those who meet Wes (I'm meeting him tomorrow in S.F.) can and may change all of the dynamics...that's why he is still 4th in NH without any real big team and no ads.

So I have faith that the guy who has all of the qualifications to render Bush moot may win out.....as long as there are enough people who are pragmatic and really want to see Bush lose...and think.
