after running a stop sign at high speed and killing a motorcyclist this past summer. I have not heard a thing about any charges. Being a friend of Bush really helps him. I believe he is still voting in DC.

He is certainly not off the hook. He is in Washington, voting in Congress but he can't do that if he ends up in prison. He may resign and he will probably not run for reelection no matter what. If he does, Stephanie Herseth will beat him. His political career is over.

He was arraigned, pleaded 'not guilty', and demanded a jury trial. his trial is set for December, I believe.
