Enemies of "Democracy and Freedom"
I cringe everytime I hear a member of the administration give's this answer to questions about why the Iraqis are fighting back. Enemies of the American occupying forces is the real answer.

This is another example of the misuse of language (A LIE!) that wasn't challenged and has become an accepted phrase in the discussion about Iraq. I want to hear my government and the press using honest, un-spun language. How do we reclaim the "meaning of words" so we can have access to an honest debate? I want my country back! and a BIG PART of that is the language.

1. It is getting old isn't it?
Such a deep pile of shit is building up that reporters are now rolling up their pants legs and wearing boots to work. They can't hide this much longer because people are starting to catch on.

5. The Media Whores don't care
The Media Whores don't care about deviating from the Nazi Party line because NONE of 'em have kids in Iraq. Not one.

Hmmm wonder what would happen if Dan Blather, Peter Jackoff, Tom Blowhard or Jim Liar lost a son or daughter in Iraq?????

2. Bush is the true enemy of democracy and freedom
The terrorists hate what corporate america is doing to the world. Add in we're not shoveling the same religion they are doesn't help. (of course, they are as false to their religion as Bush, Pat RObertson, et al, are false to their religion...)

But Bush is a clear-cut, typical fascist. Imposing his beliefs on all and eliminating freedoms as well.

Why can't people see this?

Are they waking up? I'm not so sure they are. They're wallowing in their own flag-waving coma of "patriotism".

3. I hope americans are waking up
but I'm not so sure. When I listen to the news I am blown away (and frightened) at how the language is being manipulated by the right.
They are coordinated and unrelenting, and I fear it's working quite well.

4. We have found the enemy and they are us.
if this country continues to follow the rightwing loons,we deserve nothing less than total destruction, either we cast aside greed and hate,or greed and hate will destroy america.
