Poll Shows Democrats Struggling Vs. Bush
http://news.yahoo.com/fc?tmpl=fc&cid=34&in=us&cat=democratic_party

Please email AP and let them know that their headline to this story, which is about infighting in the Democratic Party, is misleading and clearly designed to promote an agenda (the wrong one).

1. What is misleading, we are fighting here over a flag
We have so many people in this party that can't listen to what Dean said and of course no one will answer why the Clinton's and Clark will not take the rebel flag down in their state.

2. Bunch of spin
Check out the Washington Post link:

http://www.washingtonpost.com//wp-srv/politics/polls/vault/stories/data110103.html

Check out the polling trends of Bush and views of the economy and domestic issues.

Polling statistics can be spun in many ways, but it looks like fewer people have overwhelming confidence in W.

4. Well, if 75% of Repubs think their leadership is
taking the party in the "right direction" then why don't they just rename it the Permanent War Party?

5. I thought they were gaining on Bush in the polls
the unnamed Democrat beats him, and Dean and Clark as the frontrunners decreased their defeat margin to Bush by half in recent weeks

6. The headline isn't misleading...
Think about all the flack Clark has caught, now Dean. The flack is all by Democrats on Democrats. We even see it here @ DU.

You know what I find funny rhe repugs rally around their people even if they are drug addicts. We rip each other over the dumbest things.

You never hear a repug change the repugness of another repug. Think about Arnold and Mayor Bloomberg.

Maybe we should start a compassionate Democracy like their compassionate conservatism. It seams that their compassionate conservatism means being compassionate to other wingnuts. Shouldn't we be compassionate towards our own...Democrats?

Hummmm...

8. Agree on that - I'm really sick of the petty attacks
by the candidates and here as well

how silly - we are facing an extremely important battle to win back our country

we know DAMNED well that each of the frontrunners/our likely nominee is a good man - so the pettiness is not only self-destructive, but damned silly

9. The flak is good
And compassion has nothing to do with criticism. The 'Confederate Flag' issue will be a non-issue in two weeks. Republicans will lose in '04 for the very reason they are propping up false idols.

7. What about this Washington Post headline linked off Yahoo
"Democrats Could Be History "

(it's about a Kentucky race)
