Pfc. Wilfredo Perez Jr. was killed from a grenade thrown from the window of an Iraqi civilian hospital that he was guarding.

Sure, everything sounds secure.

Poor kid was killed from within the building that he was guarding.

7. what got me
was seeing the pics of the "old guys" .they must have older kids and grandkids .when ya see pics of guys not to much younger than i am it just strikes home alittle more. of course then there`s the young who are my kids age and for what? saddam`s disloyality to the bush klan and his oil...

8. not just the young over there don't forget...
My first grade son's teacher is a beautiful, wonderful, patient, kind woman. Her husband is in the national guard in NC and was sent out to Iraq Sept. 26. He is in his 50s and has that beautiful wife and two sons, one in college an the other is profoundly deaf and in a specialized school. I frett and pray for this family daily.... :(

On some of them there is a link to a photocopy of the soldier's last letter home. Oh my God. "I'll be home for football season, Dad. Lay in some beer cause we'll have a lot of catching up to do...."

That's it. Now I'm crying for us all.

10. it is truely horrible isn't it grasswire?
I never would have thought to see TWO fucking illegal wars in my lifetime, and all of those lost souls..... :cry:
